As a child one of my favorite things to do was sit on my front porch and watch the sunset. Something about the sunset would make me feel dreamy, hopeful, and thoughtful. As the years went by I often thought about my life and what I would make of it. Sometimes I felt I could conquer all my weaknesses and any obstacles that blocked me from my little dreams. And then sometimes I would feel very small, insignificant, and powerless to make a difference. Luckily for me, I had wonderful parents to buoy me up in the times of my smallness. They taught me that I was loved no matter what and that I had a purpose in life. Most of all, they taught me it wasn’t always the big things that mattered . . . that often the small things are the most important. Little things are the big things. And this is why I love the book I Can Change The World! by I See Me! Inc.
